It's clementine season again! If gorging yourself on them is simply not enough, you can try my old college homesick-for-Florida trick. Boil the skins for ten minutes, add your favorite spices, then sit it by a window to waft and billow. Pretty soon your apartment will smell like a zesty clementine dream.
Reunited and it feeeeeeels so good!! My heartbreak is over. Yesterday, as I was packing for the great move (which will take place in under 10 days) I thought I might try to turn on my broken laptop (which 304 days ago I spilt tea on and RUINED). VOILA! She lives. My old gal is back and my replacement Dell is brooding in the corner. My apple, my loverly apple is back!

Amanda and I just procured a beautiful apartment in our beloved Williamsburg! The best parts, I get my own room, we're located right by the park, and I'm gonna get an illegal pet turtle (his name will be splinter). I found my new favorite bookstore. I bought so many amazing vintage books for a dollar, it put my heart in a flutter. I also purchased an antique Mary Poppins book with gorgeous cover art. The best part about the store (besides the rocking aesthetic, and that they sell beer in their cafe) all proceeds go to housing programs and HIV prevention. Confusing, but oh so beautiful.
