I've been a long time supporter of Joanna Newsom and I was not let down by her new album. It is full of the most inspired music I have heard in years. I've been geeking out about it all day. Buy it, listen, love, enjoy. It's such a shame her concerts in NYC sold out so quickly. Oh, did I even mention she was my style icon? What an amazing girl---no wonder she gets to date Andy Sandberg. Last night, my friends and I finally got around to watching Gray Gardens----easily one of the most impressive films I've seen this year. The acting was spot on. Here's a clip of the original documentary. I have a new found respect for Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore. Bravo!

This Weekend

Howdy everyone.

This weekend I learned it's possible to fall in love with a day. Yesterday my friends and I went to visit Billy in Connecticut. The experience was more magical than Gandalf---we had a nurf gun battle in a graveyard, enough said. Here are some pics taken by Ms. Schweiger, and a wonderful video by Megapixel.

Dreaming of the Summer

Alrighty, today I walked out of my apartment and it was a winter wonderland. The street was piled with white fluffy---picture perfect. I feel guilty, but I can't wait until summer time. I miss Ralph's Italian Ice, and the feeling of skirt on my legs without tights. I smell suntan lotion everywhere I go, and I keep waiting for someone to toss a beach ball to me. Summer, please come soon!
