Philip Glass; Choreography by Benjamin Millepied

So the video in the beginning is a little cheesy, BUT push forward and enjoy this amazing piece performed by the New York City Ballet.

Joanna Newsom In Concert: NPR

Thank you lovely, lovely NPR. Click here to listen to Joanna Newsom's recent concert. Brilliance. I'm dying to hear her live (for real).

LIFE Magazine

Yesterday, as my friends and I were perusing through vintage LIFE Magazines; I was stunned by the photography---stimulating, entertaining, and all around fabulous. Above LIFE explores some of the dumbest inventions ever created. My personal favorites are the rainy day cigarette holder, and the answer-the-phone-for-you robot.

Spring is.....

Fresh spices and herbs. Time for some urban creativity.

Feeling Better

Hello world. After a myriad of health problems this week, I'm feeling like myself again. There is nothing that sleep and a bit of sunshine cannot fix. Yesterday, Megs and I bathed in the glorious sunshine all day. Spring is finally here! Lovely things to come this weekend (more sunshine, and a visit from Bess).

Beau Attack!

I am a New Yorker. I can handle most anything----being attacked by homeless people, shopping at Trader Joe's at rush hour, getting mugged, working 3 jobs plus school, living off coffee and rice chips, etc., etc. HOWEVER, when my brother sent me this clip of my pup from home, I melted. I miss my Beau man, I really do. I've got to find some way to live in this city, and have a pet.

Unconventional House Pets

How about taking home a Pine Martin, a Capybara, or a Malaya Tampir? Dreamboat pets.
